This is who I am

A little bit of a heads up , some of my blog posts will be like journal entries. I want to share things from my life, the good and the bad. If you haven't already , please visit my about me section so that you can get to know me a bit before you proceed with reading the following post. Thank you in advance for your interest in reading about my thoughts and everyday struggles.

When I made the decision to start a business, I genuinely had no idea that it would be this hard. So many people warned me that it wasn't easy and to take my time...yet instead of thinking things through I impulsively went ahead and bought Items that I don't know how to sell. I also picked out a name that I love (no matter how long it is) and decided to file for the trademark to protect it... yes you read that right, $1600 spent and half of that is already lost due to denial in 2 of the categories I applied for. In other words, I am a hot mess. But... I also refuse to give up. I have so many ideas, one of which is so important for me to see through. I need to get through this hurdle so that I can make things happen. I want to make my family proud, most importantly my daughter and mother. I would also like to help people. When I started this adventure, it wasn't just so I can have a better life. Of course, that was and is still part of it, but... I want to have the means to help others, donate to programs and people that truly need it. This is why I will continue on and hope that things can turn around soon, so I can make my real dreams come true.

I share with you an image of me trying to be a model to try to sell some of these purses :-X. I had no intentions of posting this but this is how hard I am trying and I am sure other small business owners have tried just as hard to get their products sold X-( .
