ABOUT THE OWNER

Hello Everyone,

I am the owner of Dopamine Parcel goods. I am currently 33 years old and a single mom with 1 daughter.  I wanted to talk a bit about my background and how I came to start my business. I am from NJ, born and raised, my mother is an immigrant from the Dominican Republic, and my father is from Puerto Rico.  I had a fairly normal childhood but as I become an adult, I started to have bouts of panic attacks and on and off depression that mainly stemmed from generalized anxiety. Unfortunately, my constant anxiousness became very crippling and stopped me from doing many things in life.

I did go on to have a daughter at the age of 26 but pregnancy was not easy, and things just got worst after she was born, it was a feeling of always worrying for years. My mental health was just making things difficult the older I got, so in February of 2025 I finally decided to get some help and see a psychiatrist.  After getting officially diagnosed I started to receive treatment and even though it took a few months, my life has changed for the better. I am now a much happier person, my anxiety is down, no more panic attacks & sadness, I have become a better mother and in the last 8 weeks decided I wanted to travel more, go back to school, and start my own business.

At Dopamine Parcel Goods I will be selling many different products, scented candles, wallets, desk organizers, and many more items at reasonable prices. I am also looking into having custom products manufactured and currently working on drawing up my ideas and reaching out to manufacturers to have those items made.
