ABOUT THE OWNER

Hello Everyone,

My name is Suheil , and I am the owner of Dopamine Parcel goods. I am currently 33 years old and a mom to a feisty 7 year old.  I wanted to talk a bit about my background and how I came to start my business , please bare with me because this gets a bit personal.

 

I am from NJ, born and raised, my mother is an immigrant from the Dominican Republic, and my father is from Puerto Rico.  I had a fairly normal childhood but as I become an adult, I started to have bouts of panic attacks and on and off depression that mainly stemmed from generalized anxiety. Unfortunately, my constant anxiousness became very crippling and stopped me from doing many things in life.

​I did go on to have a daughter at the age of 26 but pregnancy was not easy, and things just got worst after she was born, it was a feeling of always worrying for years. My mental health was just making things difficult the older I got, so in February of 2025 I finally decided to get some help and see a psychiatrist.  After getting officially diagnosed I started to receive treatment and even though it took a few months, my life has changed for the better. I am now a much happier person, my anxiety is down, no more panic attacks & sadness, I have become a better mother and in the last 12 weeks decided I wanted to travel more, go back to school, and start my own business.

Why DOPAMINE Parcel Goods? Well, in choosing a name for my store I started to think about the feeling I and many others get when we receive a package. What you may experience in that moment is a chemical reaction between a neurotransmitter called Dopamine and your brain receptors. It makes you “feel good” and is the same feeling I want all my customers to have when they receive parcels from my store.

 

At Dopamine Parcel Goods I will be selling many different products like scented candles, women's wallets, desk organizers, purses, and goodie bag kits for children’s parties at reasonable prices. I plan on expanding the store catalog in the months to come and adding items like tote bags, men’s wallets, keychains, educational toys for kids, backpacks, and many more.
